So I haven't written in a while. I feel like I need a good reminder that reflection on individual classes, days, weeks, etc., should happen more frequently. It helps to express thoughts on here because then they aren't just bouncing about in my head all couped up. 

This year has been 95% wonderful. I have been very efficient, I have been very organized, I have even turned in my lesson plans each week ( well most of them but they all get turned in eventually right now I'm only behind in one class.) Over all I have been able to keep on top of that even if it means taking hours out of my week so that I'll be that much more sane during the week because I'm organized and know exactly what needs to get done and how I want it to happen. 

This week however has been more fly by the seat of my pants. I think it has something to do with the cold weather. I would prefer Baltimore weather to New York weather since it has been cold in NY for the last month already but Baltimore just changes so abruptly from Hot to Cold that I get confused. I haven't done my grading this week but this will be remedied this weekend because my grades are due on Monday.....

Back to work.... we have to review for our first big 5th grade social studies test!!!!

How to be reflective...

One thing I have not lost from my college education classes is that teachers need to reflect more. I guess I've always done best reflecting vocally, however, I do believe that sometimes I even prefer to talk things out to only MYSELF. Well I can't always remember EVERYTHING I say to myself so my new thought is what if I typed my thoughts to myself. I would have record of them and they would be voiced. If anyone is to come across this feel free to comment but I just want to let it all be said.
